Rondo: draw in rivals
In this drill, the offensive players will win two points if they repeat the same pass in order to attract the defenders first so they can pass it then to the free farther players. The defenders will have to be coordinated to do the pressing choosing the right moment to do it. These tactical momentums are key and they will appear many times in the real game.
Zonal Defense Vs Overcoming Lines
The objective is to move from the creation zone to the finishing zone. To avoid that the rivals could send the ball to your defenders back.
Hexagonal rondo to work the switch of play, the players profiles and deciding before receiving the ball.
One of the constant aspects of the game is to play easy (the coach asks so many times for this) and be able to differentiate when to play with the farthest or with the intermediate players in order to overcome rivals (both attacking and defending).
Hexagon Rondo
This is a very special space in order to make the players stay in triangles first and then add another player creating a diamond. Doing this we will be able to give 3 supports at least to the player on the ball, becoming a really difficult situation for the defenders to defend.
Attacking Choice: on the sides or from within
The choice between keeping the ball or switching the play together with a change of pace to progress through the opponent half will make your players smarter when it comes to tactics.
Possession build up game from the back Vs High Pressure
Combination play situation in which we add a condition to make the dril even more difficult so it can become easier in the games. Drill to achieve an effective building of the game through taking the right decisions.
To accelerate or to delay the game, to dominate the change of pace of the game.
To control the game pace we need the players to dominate the offensive tactical principals of delaying, change of pace etc.
OF and Def Overlapping. Previous Movement before DT
In the offensive tactic, it might not be easy to combine width, finishings, overlaps and balance.
Rondo 4v2 “Pairs”
A tactical rondo in which you are not only going to work on offensive aspects but also on coverages, closing passing lines, interior passing defense, defensive delay and the right choice of the moment for activating the pressing.
Play it with far players, Beat rival lines
A high demand tactical drill which will require your players a good interpretation of the free spaces, the teammates, the rivals, to play wide or play inside etc.
